Why Estate Planning Became My Mission

My journey into estate planning began during my years in the legal profession.

While assisting with estate-related matters, I witnessed first-hand the emotional stress, family conflicts, administrative delays, and financial difficulties that often arise when proper planning is not in place.

Many families found themselves navigating complex legal procedures during one of the most difficult periods of their lives — the loss of a loved one.

These experiences taught me an important lesson:
Estate planning is not merely about distributing assets. It is about protecting the people we love, preserving family harmony, and ensuring our wishes are carried out when we are no longer around.

Inspired by the desire to help families avoid unnecessary hardship, I transitioned from the legal profession into the estate planning and financial services industry.

Today, as both a Licensed Financial Planner and a mother, I am passionate about helping families create clarity, certainty, and peace of mind through proper estate planning.

Over the years, the platform has contributed to raising awareness of Wills, Trusts, Business Succession Planning, and Legacy Planning through educational programmes, public talks, and community outreach initiatives led by experienced estate planners, including Jessie Ooi and Stanley Hon.
